Welcome to the Association for Library and Information Science Education Library and
Information Science Education Statistical Report 2012 data input
questionnaire. We are excited by this transition from the spreadsheets
used to gather data in recent years. It is our hope that the online
system will significantly ease the process of entering data and yield
much more timely generation of the Report.
With very minor exceptions, the data requested are the same as in previous years. Some
questions are presented in a slightly different manner to make optimal use of the online
questionnaire format. The categories used for ethnicity and race have
been updated to reflect the current recommended practice of the U. S.
Department of Education. Some questions requiring reponses in the form
of lists ask that schools append a Word document; templates for the Word
documents are available directly from the questionnaire and completed
files can be appended directly to the questionnaire.
